At the end of July, we decided to take a last-minute 10-day trip to Wyoming, and as usual, it was awesome! We took two days to drive out there and two days back (And let me tell you, driving with two kids is no joke. All you parents out there – I finally get it, lol). If you haven’t checked out my last post – you better check out that life update. Anywho, it was great to set our own schedule and make our way out there. It was even more fun to show everyone why I love Wyoming so much and even check out some “new to me places.”
I took so many pictures (no surprise there), we’re going to break this recap into parts!

The first few days we went stayed with my Aunt and Uncle and went four-wheeling through the mountains. It was absolutely beautiful! I’m just in awe every.single.time. I can’t get over how blue the sky is and how breathtaking the views are.

One night we checked out the tiny town of Centennial and had dinner at the Bear Tree Tavern. The swiss steak was AMAZING! That reminds me, I have to post a Yelp review for them, gotta keep up with my elite status! 😉 I hadn’t been to this town before since I usually go to Wyoming in the winter (yay snowmobiling!) and it’s on the other side of the mountain pass, which is closed due to all of the snow.
The next day we took a ride up to the Kennedy Peak, one of my favorite spots in Wyoming! You can see for miles and miles and miles. The road is a bit bumpy to get up there, but’s worth it!
We also checked out Lake Marie, which is a great hiking or lunch spot. I’ve been here before, but usually it’s under several feet of snow!
Tune in next week when I talk about the other “new to me” places we checked out!
