This is my first attempt at blogging, so bear with me and welcome to my life 🙂 It’s my hope that I can share a little bit of everything here. I started out TweakedFoodie as an Instagram account to share my daily eats and workouts, and how I was tweaking my eatings habits while remaining a foodie. But after reading Andie Mitchell’s inspiring story – It Was Me All Along, I realized that I should just take the leap and do what I’ve always wanted to do, start a real blog. (Sidenote: If you haven’t read this book – whether you’ve struggled with your weight or not, it is an AMAZING read. I flew through it, as she’s an amazing writer.). I may not be as eloquent as her at times, but I hope that I can share my life and how I’ve come to embrace it. So much more has changed about me over the years that I’ve tweaked not only my food habits, but my life. I’ve always struggled with my weight and I’ve tried every diet under the sun. I’ve lost the weight. I’ve gained the weight. I’ve never been slim and maybe I never will be. But through all of these years of ups and downs, I’ve found myself. I’ve tweaked myself. I’ve become the best me. And this is the me that I want to share, not just my love for food, but my love for travel, my love for helping people, my love for life. That love hasn’t always been there, it’s taken me years to get to this place. So this is me and my tweaked life….
